FAQ - Alan

A Life Coach can assist you, helping you to see what the obstacles are, that are in the way of you easily moving forward. Working alongside you, to strategize what the best approach may be, to take consistent action towards your goals, dreams and desires.
A Life Coach asks powerful questions, offers you a safe space to respond, listens to your responses and raises your awareness. This process can help you overcome any obstacle in your way. Working along-side you, helps you focus on your goals, so that you can take the consistent action steps necessary to achieve them.
Life Coaching is not therapy, as it looks forward towards the place you want to be, your goals, and what you want to achieve, not backwards to where you have been.

To be successful working with me, you need to be ready to make changes in your life. When you are at the place in your life where you are, “sick and tired of being sick and tired” and when you are really open to listening to your own true desires, you will easily get the answers. YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL!

If you are looking for a quick fix, to solve an issue, to relive the pain temporarily, Life Coaching is not the answer for you.

I will show you a new way to view your life to easily change what is not working. It is simply a process where I work alongside you, so you can look at where you are, honestly look at where you want to be, and receive support and encouragement along the way. Making sure you are forward focused in a healthy way, taking consistent action steps to achieve your goals, dreams and desires.

The only way to fail working with a Life Coach is if you do not make the commitment to yourself, to make the changes necessary, to move forward.

In sports, all teams have coaches.

All extremely successful business people have coaches.

The difference between success and failure is making the commitment of time, money and actually doing the work.

Let’s use a local Gym as an example. People can join the Gym to exercise, to be surrounded with like-minded people, to feel better physically and many other reasons.

There are other people who join the Gym, pay the fee monthly or yearly and always have an excuse as to why they never go.

That is a FAIL!

They are making the choice not to put in the time and effort, so absolutely nothing changes. It also gives them a reason to focus on themselves as a FAILURE on their effort of going to the Gym.

To borrow an old line, “the Elephant in the room” is a saying that describes a difficult situation that people do not want to talk about.

  • If your car is not running smoothly, you hire a mechanic.
  • If your sink is leaking, you hire a plumber.
  • If your investments are doing poorly, you hire a financial advisor.

The people that I coach find that once they get into the flow of focusing on their forward movement, after overcoming previous obstacles that held them back, everything in their life changes. The new experience of having success after success becomes FUN. Being successful, they laugh and tell me that they wonder why they made it so difficult on themselves. The have the realization that by hiring me as their Life Coach, they actually made a commitment to themselves to be open to change and move forward. That is truly the key! Then that is what happens because they made the decision, commitment and took action. Now their experiences are really EXCITING as the obstacles are long forgotten forever.

So you have to ask yourself:
“Why are you stopping yourself from achieving your goals, dreams and desires?”

Do you tell yourself you’re too busy?

Do you tell yourself I can do it myself?
How is that working for you so far??
When was your last string of successful experiences??

Do you tell yourself blah, blah, blah …

“Where do you want to go from here?”

  • If you want to move forward with Laser precision …
  • If you are ready to have the greatest life ever …
  • If you’re tired of making excuses to yourself that you haven’t reached your full potential …

Then make a commitment to yourself, to be open and honest about where you are now and what you truly want. Then make a decision to hire the support, be open to change and then actually do the work.

Once you get into the process, you will discover how easily you can experience more and more success, every day of your life.
